March 6th - 31st: Roanoke, Danville, Lynchburg - Virginia Reads One Book, a state-wide reading program that promotes literacy and financial education. Our sponsorship includes free books for all students and faculty, as well as free toothbrushes!
March 17: Roanoke, Lynchburg, Danville - VBA Bank Day. Virginia high school seniors spend a day in banks across the Commonwealth shadowing a banker in their daily duties. The purpose of this experience is for the students to learn about banking, financial services, and the vital role banks play in their communities.
March 26: Greensboro - Boy Scouts Old North State Council "Distinguished Citizen Award & Friends of Scouting Fundraising Breakfast", benefiting the Boy Scouts of America
