Danville, VA – American National Bank and Trust Company announced today the appointment of Barry M. Jarrett as Vice President-Retail Banking Manager. He will be responsible for managing nine retail branches in the bank’s following Virginia markets: Henry County, Franklin County, Halifax County and two offices in Pittsylvania County (Chatham and Gretna).
A life-long resident of Collinsville, Va., and alumnus of Radford University, Jarrett has more than 21 years of experience in financial services. He most recently served as a Market Executive for BB&T.

Jarrett currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Patrick Henry Community College and as Past President of the Board for TheatreWorks Community Players. He is a member of the Virginia Museum of Natural History Foundation and the Pledge Board for United Way of Henry County and Martinsville. Jarrett also has been actively involved with the Martinsville-Henry County Chamber of Commerce. He is married to Amy Jarrett.
