American National Announces New Commercial Relationship Manager

DANVILLE, VA – American National Bank and Trust Company is pleased to announce the addition of David E. Adams, a Lynchburg native, to its commercial team in Greensboro, N.C. Adams joins the bank with 14 years of experience and will assume the role of Commercial Relationship Manager for the Greensboro Region.

“David brings a wealth of expertise when it comes to cultivating and preserving customer relationships and ensuring exceptional service, which is what American National is all about,” said Rhonda P. Joyce, Senior Vice President and Market President for the bank’s Greensboro Region. “We are excited to welcome him to our team and look forward to working alongside him.”


Adams most recently managed commercial loan portfolios for the Bank of Oak Ridge where he served as a Vice President for five years. Previously, he served as an Assistant Vice President for Branch Banking & Trust Company, where his involvement ranged from business banking and commercial lending to commercial credit administration. An alumnus of James Madison University, Adams also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
