CEO and Bank President to Present Growth Strategy and Performance to Potential Investors in New York City

DANVILLE, VA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 08/02/11 -- American National Bankshares Inc. (NASDAQ: AMNB) ("American National") today announced that Charles H. Majors, chief executive officer of American National, and Jeffrey V. Haley, executive vice president of American National and president of its subsidiary bank, American National Bank and Trust Company, will present at the Keefe, Bruyette & Woods 12th Annual Community Bank Investor Conference.
