American National Bankshares Inc. (VA) Announces Fourth Quarter 2010 Cash Dividend

DANVILLE, VA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/18/10 -- American National Bankshares Inc., (NASDAQ: AMNB), announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.23 per share, payable December 17, 2010, to shareholders of record December 3, 2010.

"The payment of appropriate dividends is a vital part of American National's capital planning and management program," stated Charles H. Majors, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We adhere to a dividend policy based on a review of earnings, growth, capital and such other factors that our board considers relevant to the dividend decision process.
