DANVILLE, VA – American National Bank and Trust Company shared today the following employee announcement.
Ronnie F. Moore has been named Senior Vice President & Market President for the Eastern Region, which includes South Boston, Gretna and Chatham. With 17 years of banking experience, Moore began his career with Central Fidelity National Bank as a manager trainee and became a small business banker with Wachovia Corp. when they acquired Central Fidelity. He joined American National in August 2000 and helped establish a banking office in South Boston. Moore was later named an Area Manager before becoming Regional Executive and, currently, Market President for the Eastern Region.
A graduate of Halifax County High School, Moore holds a bachelor’s degree from The College of William and Mary. He currently serves as a Board Member of the Halifax County Public Schools Education Foundation and as Chair of the annual Jeff Nelson Memorial Golf Tournament, which raises funds for the high school’s athletic department. A former Board Member of the Halifax County Chamber of Commerce, Moore chaired the Halifax County Cantaloupe Festival for two years. He has also served in the past as President of the South Boston Jaycees.
