American National Announces Promotions in Danville

DANVILLE, VA Ė American National Bank and Trust Company announced today the following employee promotions in the Danville Region.

Margo Foust has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations & Process Improvement. Foust has more than 40 years of experience in the banking industry, including positions in mortgage lending, loan operations and administration, compliance, commercial relationship management and process improvement. An alumna of Averett University, Foust has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Lynchburg Habitat for Humanity and has volunteered with Greater Lynchburg United Way.

Melody Albright has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. Albright currently serves as a Loan Compliance Specialist. An alumna of Greensboro College, she has nine years of banking experience in loan operations, commercial lending and compliance. Having previously worked as a real estate paralegal, she is a North Carolina Bar-Certified Paralegal. In addition, Albright serves as President of the Pilot Club of Greensboro, a service organization that assists people with brain injuries and brain disease.

Mary Jac Sparks has been promoted to Assistant Vice President and will serve as a Mortgage Review Officer. Sparks started working with American National in October 2001 as a Mortgage Loan Officer for the Danville Region. She then became a Retail Relationship Manager. She began her banking career in 1971 and has worked in various departments, including retail banking, accounting and mortgage lending. Sparks is a graduate of Phillips Business College and was previously a member of the Danville/Pittsylvania County Homebuilders Association as well as an affiliate member of the Dan River Region Association of Realtors Inc.

Becky Yeatts has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. An alumna of Longwood College, Yeatts has a bachelorís degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and manages special projects for the Finance Department. Yeatts, a Certified Public Accountant, has 20 years of accounting experience, including roles as controller, internal auditor and compensation manager. She has served on the Board of Directors and the Family Selection Committee for the Danville-Pittsylvania County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

David Hudson has been promoted to Banking Officer. He began his tenure with American National seven years ago as a part-time teller working his way through college. Now an alumnus of Averett University with a Master of Business Administration degree, Hudson works as a Commercial Portfolio Associate.

Anna Pickeral has been promoted to Banking Officer. Pickeral has three and a half years of experience in Internal Audit. An alumna of James Madison University, she serves as Secretary of the Board for Danville After Hours Rotary, as Secretary of the Board for Festival in the Park and as a participant in Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerceís Leadership Southside XX. In addition, Pickeral is a student of the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management.

Brian Wallace has been promoted to Banking Officer. An alumnus of Averett University, Wallace started his banking career three years ago with American National when he served in the role of Teller before becoming a Commercial Portfolio Associate/Consumer Processor last year.

Casey Pruitt has been promoted to Staff Auditor. Pruitt joined American Nationalís Audit Department about two years ago. An alumna of Averett University, she holds a bachelorís degree in management and is currently seeking her Master of Business Administration degree from Liberty University.

Samantha Hearp has been promoted to Assistant Trust Officer. Hearp has four years of experience in banking after having joined American Nationalís Trust & Investment Services division in 2009. An alumna of Averett University, she holds a bachelorís of science degree in business administration. Hearp also completed Cannon I and II Trust Schools, administered by Cannon Financial Institute.
