WINSTON SALEM, NC. – American National Bank and Trust Company is preparing to open a 9,800 square-foot branch in Winston-Salem as it expands its presence in the Winston Salem and Forsyth County market.
American National Bank and Trust Company opened as a de novo branch in Winston Salem in June of 2017, operating from the 5th floor of an office building 110 at Oakwood Drive. “After a couple years establishing ourselves and serving customers from an office space with no signage, we are excited to become more visible in a community we’ve enjoyed being part of,” said Jeffrey V. Haley, President & CEO of American National Bank & Trust Company.
In addition to more square feet, the new space will offer full-service banking services including a drive-thru and an ATM for added convenience. The Bank also will be expanding its team and will be hiring additional employees to help serve its growing customer base.
Local construction company, Frank L. Blum is serving as the general contractor for the building renovation located at 22 Miller Street based on the design and architecture by Winston-Salem-based Stitch Design Shop. “The new location provides American National with a new, more visible space in a vibrant part of the city,” remarked Trent Wall, Senior Vice President and Market President of the Winston Salem market. “We look forward to being able to serve more customers in our community and offering them a newer office with more convenient ways to visit us,” Wall adds.
Upon completion of the renovation, which is expected in the third quarter of this year, will be the 29th branch location in American National’s ten markets, serving Southwest Virginia and North Carolina’s Triad area.
