Account Alerts


Get Alerts About Your Accounts

Stay up-to-date with your accounts by setting personalized alerts for balances, transactions, and usage . When you set up alerts, you will be notified by email, text, or within our app when money leaves your account, when your balance drops below a certain amount, and more. You choose how, when, and what kind of alerts you wish to receive. 
  • Balance Alerts - allows you to set up notifications when your account balance reaches a certain amount.
  • Transaction Alerts - allows you to set up notifications for debit and/or credit activity on your account. 
  • User Alerts - notifications pertaining to your account such as logins from a new device, or changes to passwords and personal information.
  • Bill Pay Alerts - can be set up for various payment types within the Bill Pay section of Online or Mobile Banking.  Learn more.

Setting Alerts

  1. Log into online or mobile banking
  2. Click the account where you'd like to add alerts
  3. Select "Alert Preferences"
  4. Choose between "Balance Alerts" and "Transaction Alerts"
  5. Choose account activity you'd like to receive alerts about and how you wish to receive them.
  6. Click "Add Alert" and you're done!

The Alerts feature helps you stay up-to-date with your accounts by setting personalized alerts for transactions, balances, and usage.
  • Balance Alerts will send notifications when your account balance reaches a limit you designate.
  • Transaction Alerts will send notifications for debit and/or credit activity on your account.
  • User Alerts are notifications pertaining to your account such as logins from a new device, or changes to passwords and personal information.
  • Bill Pay Alerts can be set up in Bill Pay. 
You can choose how you wish to receive alerts: email, text, or through an online banking or app message.



  • Balance Alerts are typically sent once per day.
  • Transaction Alerts are typically sent within an hour of a triggering event
Quiet hours: in-app and push notifications will not be sent for balance or transaction alerts between midnight and 8:30am. Text and email notifications will be sent as normal.
  • Helps to avoid overdrafts and associated fees by notifying you when your balance is low.
  • Avoid fraud by monitoring transactions on your debit and credit cards, and by notifying you when there is a login from a new device or when your password or personal information has been changed.
  1. Log into online or mobile banking

  5. Choose account activity you'd like to receive alerts about and how you wish to receive them.
  6. Click "Add Alert" and you're done!
